About me

I am an astrophysicist currently working at the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics with Professor A. Dupree. I previously completed my PhD at the Institut de Recherche en Astrophysique et Planétologie (IRAP), located at the Observatoire Midi Pyrénée (OMP) in Toulouse, France

Before starting my PhD, I obtained a master's degree in fundamental physics from the Aix-Marseille University, with a specialization in particles and astroparticles, and a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University Toulon, France.

When I am not doing science, you will find me playing music, reading, fixing my bike or running.

Reasearch

My recent research has largely focused on the spectroscopic analysis of stars, and in particular M dwarfs, that are the most numerous stars around us. M dwarfs are known to host exoplanets, and their study is essential to understand the solar neighborhood, but their characterization is a technical challenge, in particular because of their complex atmospheres. They also host magnetic fields, that are believed to play essential roles in stellar formation, evolution, and on the habitability of the planets orbiting them. To study those stars, I develop tools and models, such as ZeeTurbo, and analyze high-resolution data recorded with state-of-the-art instruments. My research interests are not limited to M dwarfs, however, and I am also analyzing high-resolution spectra of B and Be stars observed in the Magellanic Clouds to understand more about the multiple population of stars observed in globular clusters.
